Privacy Policy

The short version

I run paid advertising campaigns for local trade businesses. I collect the contact details you give me when you book a call or email me, and — if you become a client — I get access to your advertising accounts so I can manage your campaigns. I do not sell your information, I do not share it for anyone else’s marketing, and this website itself has no analytics, no advertising pixels, and no tracking scripts of any kind.

1. Information I collect

When you book a call. Scheduling runs through Cal.com. When you book, you provide your name, email address, and whatever you type into the notes field. Cal.com also records the time you booked and your time zone. I receive that information by email and in the Cal.com dashboard.

When you contact me directly. If you email or call me, I have whatever you send — your email address or phone number, your business name, and the content of the message.

If you become a client. To manage your campaigns I need: your business name and service area, the services you want promoted, your business phone number and email, and delegated access to your Google Ads and/or Meta Business accounts. I also see the reporting data those platforms generate about your campaigns — impressions, clicks, costs, conversions, and the contact details of leads the ads generate.

What I do not collect. I do not take payment card numbers, bank details, or Social Security or tax identification numbers. Your advertising spend is charged by Google and Meta directly to a card you enter yourself in your own account. That card never passes through me and I never see it.

2. This website does not track you

There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising or conversion tracking, no session recording, and no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to consent to. The only third-party request this site makes is to Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) to load typefaces; Google receives your IP address as part of that request, as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses and are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.

3. How I use your information

• To talk to you, hold the call you booked, and answer your questions.
• To build, launch, and manage advertising campaigns inside your accounts.
• To report to you on what your campaigns are doing and what your leads are costing.
• To invoice you for the monthly management fee.
• To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations.

I do not use your information to train advertising models, build profiles of you, or market anything to you other than my own service — and if you tell me to stop contacting you, I stop.

4. Who I share it with

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and I do not disclose it to anyone for their own marketing. I am a one-person business, so there are no employees or contractors with access. Information is shared only with the service providers required to operate:

• Google (Google Ads, Google Workspace email, Google Fonts) — campaign management and email.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising) — campaign management.
• Cal.com — call scheduling.
• Vercel — hosting for this website.

Each of these providers operates under its own privacy policy. I may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or where necessary to protect against fraud or harm.

5. Leads your ads generate

When someone responds to one of your ads, their contact details go to you — by phone call, form, or message, depending on how the campaign is set up. I see this data inside the advertising platforms as part of managing your account, but those consumers are your customers and the relationship is yours. You are responsible for how you contact and handle them, including compliance with marketing, calling, and texting laws that apply to your business. I do not contact your leads on your behalf, and I do not reuse them for anything.

6. How long I keep it

Enquiry and booking records are kept for up to two years so I have context if you come back. Client records, campaign reporting, and invoices are kept for the length of our engagement and then for up to seven years afterwards, which is what tax and business recordkeeping require. Data held inside Google Ads and Meta stays in your accounts and is governed by their retention settings — and because those accounts are yours, it remains with you if we stop working together.

7. Your rights

You can ask me at any time to tell you what information I hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete your information, or stop contacting you entirely. Email max@bookedbymax.com and I will respond within 30 days. There is no charge and I will not treat you differently for asking. If you are a Massachusetts resident, or covered by a state privacy law that grants additional rights, those rights apply and the same address reaches me.

8. Security

Access to advertising accounts is delegated through Google’s and Meta’s own permission systems rather than by sharing passwords, and the accounts I use are protected by two-factor authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security — but I do not hold the categories of data that would make a breach severe.

9. Children

This is a business-to-business service and is not directed at anyone under 18. I do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, email me and I will delete it.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes affecting existing clients will be sent to you by email.
